I didn't learn much this weekend, I'm sorry to say. Really, it wasn't that big of a weekend for me. I cooked, I cleaned (a little) and I ran errands. Woohoo, big weekend! I did check out the new pub, J.J. Doolan's, over on Bethel... across from the old rRed Elephant. I think that's going to be my new favorite hangout. As soon as the pizza ovens are working. The beer is cold, the color is warm, the bar is a rich wooden palate, the tender is friendly and I was content to sit with friends and throw back a couple ales. I will be back, that's for sure.
Oh, I did learn that I have NO clothes suitable for a ball. Oh, i have one outfit, but I wore it last year so I CAN'T POSSIBLY wear it again this year. Mahalo to a friend who lent me several options. Wish me luck.
