Like hundreds of thousands of people, I read the NYTimes online. And like them, I glance at the list of most popular articles to see what's being e-mailed and what's being blogged. So I know that I'm not unique in this sense as my curiosity compels me to glance over the list, even though I have no intention on clicking on any of the links. But I clicked a link today. "Will you be e-mailing the column? It's awesome." It taunted me. I had to.
Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania have studied the NYTimes list of most e-mailed articles to see what people find so interesting that they must e-mail it. Check me out... I was on the same wavelength as those researchers, um, but without the research. Thanks for enlightenment about what I find interesting enough to forward to my friends. I'm gonna forward this one, too.
