I got over it and moved on to One Morning in Maine and Blueberries for Sally, both by Robert McCloskey. Couldn't get enough of them. My mother asked me once, "what in the world do you love so much about this book? You have nothing in common with this girl, where she lives, nothing." Honestly? I didn't really know. I think it was 'cause she was loosing her tooth or something. I thought it was funny. Not HAHA funny, but cute. Or something. Like that. Now I like reading ABOUT the stories I used to love. And here's a gold mine: 10 STORIES BEHIND DR. SEUSS STORIES. Yay, more stories!
