Wow, I love the number of holidays I get here... it's like a vacation after a vacation. LOVE IT.
So I saw Mr. Obama last week. OK, I didn't really "see" him. I saw his car, well, his motorcade. I did wave at the back of his car as he sped off towards his Kailua compound. I'm sure he saw me and waved back with equal fervor.
Ooh, and the best part of this time of year? All the summations. Yup, everyone from the New York Times to The Soup have gathered their resoures and are showing off their year of memories. This morning I browsed through the NYT's The Year in Picutures. Love it.

BBC's expose on The Huge Year for Natural Disasters? Yup, done that.
