Hot off the press: the European Parliament just voted to keep the increment of measurements the way they like it... in pints and miles. YAY! 'Cause I would NOT like to order a half liter of beer, that just makes me sound like a drunkard. A pint, on the other hand, is a perfectly respectable amount for a lady to hold.
