Loyal. As. A. Dog.

I like cats. Not lots of 'em, just one or two at a time. Too many and they'll band together as a finicky cat gang and try kill me with their indifference to my existence.

I like dogs, too, don't get me wrong. They cuddle, cats do not. It's just that dogs try to suffocate me with their affection. And have you tried to train a dog to use a litter box?

Since I'm kinda of a cat person, it's odd for me to say that I'm loyal like a dog. I am. This morning I read a blurb in PBN about the value of loyal employees. That made me think. I have a job. A great job. I am thankful. I am loyal.

I'm loyal to the core.

You can point out all my flaws and I will still strive for perfection, as unattainable as it may be.
You can criticize my actions and I will act anyway, growing from each experience.
You can chastise my reactions and I will react anyway, each time trying to balance my heart with my head.
You can tell me I'm wrong as I turn every corner and I will try my hardest to make it right.
You can forget to say thank you and I will act, react and be loyal without it (until I explode!).

I will be exhausted from the endeavor, but I will be there... tired, beaten and true.

Thanks for having me on your team!

I am a cat person as well. However, one of my greatest fears is that I will never get married and turn into that crazy cat lady on your street.
