Since we're in an institution of learning, I thought I'd share a few of the things that I learned over the weekend...
Friday:
1) Thai noodle soup tastes best when my aunty makes it (yes, she's from Thailand).
2) My dad eats Thai noodle soup?!?
3) A cold beer from uncle goes great with aunty's spicy, spicy, SPICY noodle soup.
Saturday:
4) Morning really is my favorite time to go to the gym. I wish I could go every morning.
5) Going anywhere near the Stadium on UH football game day is CRAZY.
6) Eight and a half minutes is a lot longer than you think when you're standing still on the stage of the Blaisdell Concert Hall waiting for your turn to sing sixteen bars and an eighth note. A lot longer.
Sunday:
7) The EZ-up tents really are quite easy to put up. Nice.
8) Sangria goes great with spam musubi, but not so good with Rice Krispie Treats.
9) A friendly French man at the restaurant last night said that the French have something similar to my white Sangria (from earlier in the day), which they call a Jacqueline... when you say "Jacqueline" in your head, make sure you use the fancy French accent 'cause it sounds so much better that way.
All in all, it was a great weekend for me. Welcome back to the work week!
